BISHOP BRIGGS // LIVE AT THE THEATRE AT THE ACE HOTEL - A REVIEW

Bishop Briggs Brought the 'Church of Scars' to L.A. ...

Singer-songwriter Bishop Briggs took us to Church last night (September 5th) at her sold out concert in Los Angeles, held at the very apropos The Theatre at The Ace Hotel. The gothic architecture definitely set the scene for the night. I was excited to be not only checking off another artist on my photography wish list but checking off another concert venue as well! The band Joywave opened up the show and they were the perfect opener for Bishop Briggs. Fun Electro-pop with Alternative leanings. I hadn't heard much from them but after seeing them live and how enthusiastic their fans were. I would definitely recommend them.Bishop Briggs hit the stage at approximately 9:10 and with my photo pass I had only the first three songs to get my photos. I was stoked to be seeing her live again but this time photographing her set. The entire show was so fun and I was so thankful for this opportunity. Bishop's vocals literally filled up the room and all the way to the rafters and balcony. She played a bunch of new songs including her latest "Baby". The crowd went absolutely nuts on "Wild Horses" and you feel the emotion saturate the entire room when she went into songs like "Hi-Lo Hollow" and her cover of INXS "Never Tear Us Apart". The night ended on a high note with her massive hit "River". It was definitely not a concert to be missed and Bishop Briggs is an artist not to be missed. So to start check out my gallery from her epic show below![gallery ids=""]Bishop Briggs // Photographed by Brittney Williams

Until then,
