Songwriter and Pop singer Marina (formerly Marina and The Diamonds) brought her Love + Fear tour to The Greek Theatre this past Friday, October 4th. The artist known for her songs like “Primadonna” and “Orange Trees” brought her A-game with strong and gorgeous vocals. Marina’s performance also included choreographed interpretive dance routines from her and her color-coordinated dancers and back up singers. It was to match a notable look that night from Marina. The artist was wearing a look styled by Mercedes Natalia. A stunning custom OLIMA Studio corset two-piece that featured her two cats, Jupi and Mavis. Marina‘s fans turned out in droves in the canyons that night, many dressed in outfits from her different eras. But many were also there to see Marina’s opener, Allie X and she did not disappoint. The Canadian singer-songwriter also captured the audience playing songs like “Paper Love” and her new song “Fresh Laundry“. Allie X like Marina are both unique female singer-songwriters who play by their own rules. Last Friday both put their vocal prowess on display at The Greek Theatre.
