BRITISH POP DARLING FOXES RETURNS WITH ‘LOVE NOT LOVING YOU’

‘Love Not Loving You’ is Foxes first single is three years.

After taking a three-year break from music, British Pop darling Foxes returns with new track, ‘Love Not Loving You’. A song about loving yourself, not depending on anyone else (including your relationship) for happiness. How you’ll never be fully happy unless your forging your own path and identity. It's a self-empowerment anthem for the Millennial and Gen Z generations.

FOXES

As ‘Love Not Loving You’ imbues the listener to find their own so has Foxes. This is an important song, as it marks the next stage in her career. It’s a fun, fresh, fun, and empowering. Foxes' vocals are playful and full of fire harmonies on this disco-inspired synth-pop number. Taking the creative reins in a time of uncertainty (aka quarantine) also meant filming the official music video. To help with filming of the DIY music video was Foxes’ Mom and direction from The Mill’s Rauri Cantelo. Inspired by classical paintings and the muses within them. How the women's identities were unknown or glossed over for the sake of being the artists’ muse. Something that she had become interested in of late. In the video, Foxes revaluates the idea of the muse by cheekily celebrating these women and the art. You can watch the music video below and stream the song here.
