ENGLISH ARTIST TOM ROSENTHAL RELEASES NEW SINGLE ‘I WENT TO BED AND I LOVED YOU’

The single is from his forthcoming album which is in tribute to his late Father.

If you recognise English musician Tom Rosenthal through his viral hits like his cover of the Edward Sharpe hit ‘Home‘. A tune which he covered under the moniker Edith Whiskers. Or the whimsical ditty created with his daughter, Fenn titled ‘Dinosaurs In Love’. Then you’ll want to give his new music a listen if you weren’t already a fan. The singer-songwriter has crafted nostalgic quaint Folk Pop since the start of the decade. Rosenthal quickly making a name for himself with his penchant for “short, expertly crafted pop songs”.

Denis Was A Bird’ is the sixth album from Tom Rosenthal and is due out on August 20th, via Tinpot Records/Universal Music. It’s an album written in a effort to help Tom cope with the loss of his Father and is a dedication to him. For this forthcoming release Tom tapped into a well of emotion and vulnerability, quite unlike anything he had before. The record features his latest release ‘I Went To Bed And I Loved You‘. A track about choosing to focus on the more uplifting and joyous moments in life. It follows the more solemn lead single ‘Now You Know’. Both tracks giving the listener an array of emotions like that in life. A music video for the new song, ‘I Went To Bed And I Loved You‘ is out now featuring fans of Tom’s celebrating the lives of loved ones they lost.
