I visited The Broad museum in DTLA for the second time. I went to see the new Jeffrey Gibson exhibit, the space in which to place me. I also went into the Mirror Room again as well. Seeing as I’ve been staying in this area for some time after being displaced by the Eaton Fire (thankfully we still have a home, there was just pretty extensive damage). I try to take everything day by day now, seeing it’s been six months now. I don’t know when I would get a chance to explore Bunker Hill like this and the many museums in the area, in between all the work of getting back home. I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the exhibition, and the history behind it, and more importantly I loved learning about an artist that I wasn’t aware of. So if you have the time and are in or around DTLA please visit The Broad to not only see some great contemporary art (Basquiat, is there!!) but this gorgeous collection from Jeffrey Gibson, the space in which to place me. Anyway I took a bunch of pics at the exhibit which you can view below!
