THE RECLUSIVE BLOGGER’S FAVORITE MUSIC ROUNDUP VOLUME 4

Hey, guys! It’s volume 4 of my weekly roundup! As per usual this post will highlight my favorite songs I’ve been listening to. Let’s get right into it!

1. BEA MILLER // “THAT BITCH”

Bea Miller snapped on this one! The Pop Singer-songwriter went there and gave us a full feminist bop for the ages. Just go and listen, you’re quite welcome. 🙂

2. NOAH CYRUS // “JULY REMIX (FEAT. LEON BRIDGES)”

July” by Noah Cyrus is short and sweet, and the remix featuring the addition of vocals and heart of the incredibly talented Leon Bridges gives the track another perspective. Their voices blend quite splendidly and try not to watch the animated video without tearing up.

This upbeat Electro-Pop meets R&B jam from Danish experimental R&B duo Phlake is the perfect addition to your Holiday party playlists. The track is super groovy as it bounces along featuring elements from EDM, Disco, Pop, Glitch and R&B. Phlake says the track is about; “It’s is about taking small steps towards big changes. The way to hell is paved with good intentions. And the freeway of dreams can take you for a hell of a ride”, explains the band talking about the song. You can take a small step yourself and listen now!

4. NIALL HORAN // “NICE TO MEET YA (Stripped Version)”

This almost acoustic version of Niall’s new single is super fun, lively and shows off Niall’s vocals a bit more than the original which I am still bopping to, makes this a must add to my “Britt’s Bops” playlist.

5. BLACKBIRD BLACKBIRD // “COLLAPSE

“Collapse” is the second single off Los Angeles based Producer Blackbird Blackbird from his upcoming album Hearts. The song sees the chillwave artist and producer push the boundaries and his skills as a chillwave artist into new territories and genres. It features the lush synths and emotional harmonies more akin to Synth Pop and New Wave, “Collapse” with all its intricacies tells a story. You can listen to it below.

6. SOULAR ORDER // “REDACTED

On “RedactedSoular Order uses rich, dark and atmospheric sound palettes of drums, musical textures, and synths, that all sinew the song together. It creates a song that is vast and transports the listener to another world. One that is cold, and lonely but leaves one feeling self-reflective after listening.
